Introducing bees to our garden farm
As far back as I can remember, I've been fascinated by bees and the incredible medicines that they offer. Honey, propolis, bee pollen, venom and royal jelly are some of the most potent natural medicines that nature provides. Its no wonder bee keepers are some of the longest living people on the planet.
Swings, swings, some of my favourite things.
One of the reasons I love living here in this dusty, beautiful, strangely dreamy oasis is the Amazigh (Berber) tribal people who call this place home. People here are generally pretty darn happy. The culture makes time for each other and prioritizes the important things in life like family and friends. To live here means one never truly feels alone or excluded from the community. The mentally ill, the old, the young, all are valued and accepted.
Moonlight & Stars - Into the Desert
We believe that walking through the desert provides a feeling like no other.
The open desert landscape helps restore vitality and mental clarity and sleeping under the stars, untainted by the lights of modern civilization is an unforgettable experience.
Here are some of our trips into the desert magic.
Life on the Garden Farm
Our garden farm is watered by an ancient Pharonic spring and is abundant in herbs, fruits and happy animals. We keep goats, chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits which are all pasture fed and organic, and spend their days foraging outside in the sunshine. We grow herbs, including aloes, moringa, basil, eucalyptus, rosemary and thyme to name just a few.
