Why is it so often women who hear the calling to visit the remote desert oasis of Siwa?
There is a significant and deeply important reason for making the long journey to this timeless land…
… the Oracle of Siwa.
One of my favourite places on Earth ~ a remote and powerful ancient Egyptian temple nestled in the palm forest of the oasis ~ dedicated to the deity and Sun God Amun. It’s an anchor of light in the physical realm and one of the world’s most powerful healing destinations. It lies next to massive salt deposits ~ nearby one of the enormous lakes of this remarkable oasis ~ salty water being a powerful conductor of electricity.
This temple has called many people over millennia ~ history most obviously remembers famously powerful men like Alexander the Great ~ but more especially it was women who compellingly heard the call of Siwa. Perhaps because it’s a temple renowned for its priestesses as well as prophesies ~ where sacred life-giving sweet water flows from under the rocks below. This temple which ~ due to its exceptional orientation ~ proves itself to be a galactic clock ~ signaling the important times of the equinoxes ~ with the Goddess Nut at its axis. A time of the year honoured, held sacred, respected and revered by many indigenous cultures across the planet for much of human history. Siwa is indeed a place where the veil is exceptionally thin.
The veil is the liminal space ~ the aether ~ the threshold between the physical world and the non-physical world ~ or the realm of the spirit. In theory ~ the veil lies also between timelines ~ across dimensions and parallel realities. As The Veil dissolves ~ thins or lifts ~ truth is revealed and one can more easily experience the beautiful energy ~ the clarity, guidance and the light that exists beyond the physical realm.
Up until very recently ~ local Siwan women would receive blessings at the Oracle ~ to obtain favourable marriage opportunities and abundance and happiness in their lives. Perhaps ~ very quietly ~ they still do. Likely this ancient practice has continued for thousands of years. That shouldn’t come as a surprise ~ as it was once the home to some of the most important mystics and women of the ancient world revered for their sacred communion with the Divine. Holy mantras would be recited close to the source of water under the temple rock ~ where an ancient door led to portals into the underworld ~ miles of ancient tunnels under the ground connecting up sacred sites ~ specifically associated with death and rebirth.
Here in Siwa ~ we live amongst the enduring remnants of an ancient civilisation ~ much more advanced in consciousness than we can currently fathom. A highly sophisticated and deeply spiritual society where sacred practices and science were intricately woven together and reflected in the physical realm through powerful technological wonders. This ancient memory is held deep in our collective field whispering to those spiritually aligned to their soul purpose ~ calling them home to remember.
Of the current pilgrims to the Oracle of Siwa ~ it still seems that women more easily tune in to its ancients powers ~ particularly if they come to visit the temple during the equinoxes ~ moments of earth abundance, fertility and rebirth ~ to make offerings to the divine mystical and spiritual powers that are anchored here. Connecting themselves to the sacred feminine energies and divine alignments ~ offering forth their intentions and looking for blessings. Prayers most effective during the windows of time around equinoxes and solstices ~ where the veils between worlds are at their thinnest.
As our universal cycles repeat and we navigate ourselves through this dark age of extremities and begin our journey back closer ~ toward the harmonious light of galactic centre ~ it becomes more and more important to quieten the incessant noise of our current wayward and destructive civilisation and attune ourself to the frequencies and power of Divine Source energy to help guide our soul journey to greater enlightenment and support the ascension on Earth. The Oracle temple of Siwa is a great place to receive those activations and offer those prayers.
Our realm is in a process of mass transformation which is having devastating and catastrophic consequences for humanity and the current global paradigm. That is the nature of the times we live in. Despite persecution and destruction over the ages to eliminate the divine power that radiated from this temple ~ the mostly forgotten Oracle temple and the guardians of light that protect it ~ are still very much alive and waiting for a paradigm shift of consciousness on this planet.
